Required for September 2018 (Maternity Cover) - French Teacher
On behalf of our client school in South Tyneside we are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated teacher of French to join their talented and successful languages faculty. The school itself is a reputable 11-18 school with state of the art facilities and excellent exam results history.
This vacancy to cover maternity from September 2018 until Easter 2019 in the first instance.
The successful candidate will be committed to excellence through innovative practice. The post would suit either an NQT, who would be given a comprehensive induction programme, an RQT or an experienced teacher seeking further professional development. Candidates will be expected to teach French across KS3-4, whilst effectively maintaining a positive learning environment. The member of staff due to go on maternity leave also covers KS3 ICT/Business so any experience in this area would be advantageous.
Standard requirements are:
- QTS or equivalent qualification.
- Be well organised with high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
- Have knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students.
- Have great organisation and time management skills.
