I am excited to be working alongside a wonderfully well represented village school based in Thorpe-Le-Soken. An Ofsted Good School, they have a real community and family feel. They are an inclusive school which provides a happy, secure and safe environment with their pupils at the heart of what they do.

The School is an average sized primary school who have recently converted to an academy. The school serves the village that it is situated in and surrounding local villages. As any mainstream primary they have an average intake of pupils with SEN as well as pupil premium funding. The school has been awarded National Healthy Schools as well as having excellent links with schools in other countries. The behaviour remains a strength of this school.

Therefore we are looking for a highly driven Qualified Teacher of Year 2 to start in September. This is currently a temporary one term contract with the possibility of a permanent or ongoing contract. You will ideally be an experienced Key Stage 1 Practitioner who has experience with Year 2 SATS and testing. The current Key Stage 1 department have been commended for their phonics testing with the last 3 years results being above the national average.
