The Education Network are pleased to be working with a Community Junior School on Canvey Island who are looking for a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) to join them in July/September 2018. They preferably are looking for a NQT with a strong sense of wanting to Teach in Key Stage 2.
The school are a warm and friendly school on an improvement journey since September 2017. They are a larger than average Junior School that are currently meeting Government Floor Standards for Year 6 Literacy, Reading and Mathematics. They have an average percentage of SEN and Free School Meals and all of the pupils speak English as their first language.
The new SLT have made a positive contribution to the teaching and learning across the school. The behaviour is good from all pupils and they really have an excellent attitude towards their learning. The school help pupils understand their importance in a diverse and democratic country.
