Behaviour Support Assistant - Rochdale.
£60 - £70 per day

The Education Network is looking to recruit a learning support assistant with experience in engaging disaffected children with low self-esteem who may suffer with some anxiety and/or anger management challenges.
Your role will focus on providing the school with an additional layer of supportive behaviour management. You will ideally have a background in working with young people or adults with challenging behaviour and have worked in educational or health and care settings.
You will be working on a one-to-one basis with pupils identified as needing support in this area. The role will commence after the Easter break (April 2018) and is expected to run until July 2018.
You will be based at a Ofsted rated "Good" school in Rochdale, which is a mixed 11-16 comprehensive. The school is located close to the town centre therefore has excellent transport links via bus, train and Metrolink.
In order to apply for this role we require the following:
" At least two years verifiable experience of working with children or young adults
" Experience of SEMH or SEBD would be advantageous
" An Enhanced DBS check registered on the DBS Update Service or be willing to undertake a DBS check (this will need to be paid for by the candidate)
" Initiative, enthusiasm and a desire to help children succeed
" Behaviour management skills
