SEN tutor required for a part time tutor role in Trafford and Manchester
Education Network are currently working with a number Virtual schools who are looking for specific tutors to work with a variety of children who have EHCP's and additional needs
You will be required to have:
The ability to be flexible, dynamic and innovative in the delivery national curriculum, to varying degrees from P levels to KS4.
The ability to deliver learning opportunities in a range of environments, e.g. 1:1 tuition, group work, in school and in the home
Experience of other communication tools, Ie PECS, Makaton etc
Be keen to support children with special educational needs who might have some challenging behaviours, be SEMH or display anxiety and difficulty verbally
An understanding of tuition in the home and be able to support with resources, planning and delivery
An ability to work with an EHCP and be able to follow specific recommendations, be happy to liaise with both parents and LA and regularly feedback.
