Music Teacher required for short term sickness cover in South Manchester
The Education Network is currently recruiting for a Music Teacher for a large academy situated just on the outskirts of Manchester. This is full time and is due to start after the May half term break until the end of the academic year. You will be responsible for teaching Music across Key Stage 3 and 4.
The ideal candidate for this role will:
Be a Qualified Teacher - QTS, QTLS or equivalent
Have music as a specialism and experience in UK schools
Have an up to date DBS
Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4
Planning, preparation and marking - written work as well as musical Up to date knowledge of subject curriculum- involving critical engagement, composition, listening
Be able to manage the peripatetic teachers that visit the school
Be able to manage and organise extra curricular activities, school concerts and support musically with the yearly production
Managing behaviour in line with schools behaviour policy
Working proactively with other team members
