SEND Teaching Assistant
Location - North Manchester, Greater Manchester
The Education Network are currently seeking an enthusiastic SEND teaching assistant for a full time position in a 'Good' primary school in North Manchester. The successful candidate will be working to provide 1:1 support to a pupil with Global Developmental Delay (GDD) and English as an additional language. Our client school are seeking someone with prior experience supporting SEND pupils and although not essential, it would be advantageous to have prior experience and understanding of working with Global Development Delay.
The successful candidate will:
Have at least six months experience working with children in an educational setting
Have prior experience supporting a child with SEND
Be competent working individually with a child as well as part of the whole class
Have a passion for education and raising the achievement of all children
Ideally be Team Teach trained although this is not essential
