Teaching Assistant

East Birmingham

This vibrant Primary Special Educational Needs School are looking for a confident and creative Teaching Assistant to work 1-2-1 and in small groups of Primary aged children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, communication and language disorders and a range of related learning difficulties. Are you a Teaching Assistant with a positive approach and the relevant experience? Do you want to work in a highly rewarding setting, with a fantastic team? You will need to be an engaging and proactive Teaching Assistant who is keen to make a positive impact in the classroom. If you are interested in this position, please apply now! Ideally you will be:

-          A SEN TA or Learning Mentor used to working with children with barriers to learning

-          A confident classroom practitioner able to support lessons in a creative and inspiring manner

-          Used to finding creative and interactive solutions

-          Encouraging participation in lessons

-          Happy to work on a 1-2-1 or small group basis

-          Able to provide support to teaching staff

-          A friendly, professional  and dedicated Teaching Assistant or Learning Mentor

-          Able to provide recent, relevant education references
