Our client is a vastly improved mixed Further Education College, the college made changes at a senior level, the new leadership team have made great forward strides, most notably the success of pupil's examination results at GCSE.
The school is looking to appoint an outstanding English teacher, starting in at the latest September 2018 on a fixed term long term contract. The successful applicant will join a well resourced department. The time table will be an even split between key stages 3 and 4 and you will take form teacher responsibilities
With the sustained and consistent improvement in college, students are making positive progress and the majority exceeding the average expectations at GCSE. Teaching is good and in some cases outstanding, students are confident in expressing themselves during lessons and this has a positive impact on the development throughout their time in school.
The Head teacher is looking to appoint a talented English teacher with a passion for their subject; you will need to have previous experience at Key stage 4 at least. This is an excellent opportunity and the school are looking to hold interviews as soon as possible.
