Learning Support Practitioner

Sandwell - £60 - £70 Per Day

This truly Outstanding Alternative Provision are looking for a dedicated and inspired Learning Support Practitioner to work with Key Stage 3 & 4 students with barriers to learning. This school provide students who have faced academic and social challenges in previous environments with excellent support. With fantastic facilities, areas for the children to express themselves and a committed team, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Practitioner who is looking to make a real difference to the children that you work with. I love working with this school as it is clear that they put the needs of their children first and have a brilliant, supportive and proactive team. You will be providing both 1-2-1 and small group support to students, and assisting the teacher in whole class activities. Easily accessible from Sandwell, Birmingham and surrounding areas, this is a brilliant environment to work in.

Must have previous experience in this or a similar role where the welfare of the young person and their progress within education was key.

Must have:-

-          Previous Education, Youth Work experience 

-          Good standard of education 

-          DBS

-          Intervention training 

-          Patience 

-          Good sense of humour
