Learning Support Assistant


The Education Network are looking for an experienced Learning Support Practitioner to work with Primary aged children in this fantastic SEMH setting. We are looking for a Learning Support Practitioner who has the ability to motivate children, manage classroom behaviour and has a good understanding of up to date SEMH practices. You will be joining an established team that has contributed to this school achieving Ofsted “Outstanding”. You will be working on a 1-2-1 and small group basis with children that require additional classroom based support. An awareness and respect for the needs of individual children is essential. If you are a Learning Support Practitioner that is looking to make a real difference for pupils within the SEMH sector, this is a fantastic environment to do so. Easily accessible from Lichfield, Shenstone, Walsall Sutton Coldfield and Tamworth. Interviews will be held locally.


Ideally you will be:

-          A SEMH TA or Learning Mentor used to working with children with barriers to learning

-          A confident classroom practitioner able to support lessons in a creative and inspiring manner

-          Used to finding creative and interactive solutions

-          Encouraging participation in lessons

-          Happy to work on a 1-2-1 or small group basis

-          Able to provide support to teaching staff

-          A friendly, professional  and dedicated Teaching Assistant or Learning Mentor

-          Able to provide recent, relevant education references
