SEN Teaching Assistant
£55 - £65 Per day
This SEN School are looking for a dedicated Level 3 Teaching assistant to work with primary aged children with a variety of special education needs. The Ideal Teaching Assistant will be experienced in supporting and assisting students with complex autism and communication difficulties. You will be supporting children in both group activities and on a 1-2-1 basis, establishing and maintaining relationships and supporting students through learning activities. Working closely with staff to observe and monitor student progress and ensure that they are given the required support. This is an outsanding school and a highly rewarding environment.
Ideally you will be:
- A TA with SEN experience
- A confident classroom practitioner able to support lessons in a creative and inspiring manner
- Used to finding creative solutions to overcome barriers to learning
- Encouraging participation in lessons
- Happy to work on a 1-2-1 or small group basis
- Able to provide support to teaching staff across core subjects
- A friendly, professional and dedicated Teaching Assistant
- Able to provide recent, relevant education references
