£60 - £70 Per Day
Teaching Assistant required to work with secondary-aged pupils who have faced barriers to learning. This PRU are looking for an engaging, fun and patient Teaching Assistant or Learning support assistant to help pupils to engage with the lessons. You will work with pupils on either a 1-2-1 or small group basis, providing additional classroom support, managing behaviour and providing break-out activities. This Alternative Provision are looking for a dynamic and supportive Teaching Assistant, who is able to motivate and inspire the students that they work with. With a great team and excellent leadership, this is a great environment for a proactive Teaching Assistant.
You will be:-
- Teaching Assistant, Learning Mentor or Learning Support Assistant
- Able to demonstrate a minimum of six months working at school level
- Happy to work in a PRU
- Used to being creative, innovative and fun in the classroom
- Happy to work with children and young adults with barriers to learning
- Looking for a rewarding career in an SEND setting
