SEND Teaching Assistant

£55 - £65 Per Day

The Education Network is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant with ASD and primary experience. This Ofsted “outstanding” school that has helped pupils to make outstanding progress in Maths and English, are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with Key Stage 2 & 3 pupils with ASD. You will need to be an energetic and engaging Teaching Assistant who has experience working with Autism and can demonstrate a fantastic attitude. This school provides an outstanding environment in which to work, with supportive staff and dynamic leadership. You will be working with small groups and a 1-2-1 basis with pupils that require additional support. Located in east Birmingham this school is easily accessible from Birmingham, Solihull Sutton Coldfield and surrounding areas.

Ideally you will be:

-          A Level 3 TA with SEN experience

-          A confident classroom practitioner able to support lessons in a creative and inspiring manner

-          Used to finding creative solutions to overcome barriers to learning

-          Encouraging participation in lessons

-          Happy to work on a 1-2-1 or small group basis

-          Able to provide support to teaching staff across core subjects

-          A friendly, professional  and dedicated Teaching Assistant

-          Able to provide recent, relevant education references
