£60 - £70 Per Day
The Education Network is working with a vibrant PRU near Tipton on an opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant. Working in small groups with secondary-aged pupils, providing academic support and contributing to classroom management. Most the students have faced barriers and require additional support. The school are looking for a dynamic and engaging Learning Support Assistant who is comfortable working with challenging behaviour in this rewarding environment. The senior leadership provide extensive support for both staff and students. An easy commute from Dudley, Tipton, Oldbury, Halesowen, Walsall and Birmingham, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Support Mentor.
You will be:-
- Teaching Assistant, Learning Mentor or Learning Support Assistant
- Able to demonstrate a minimum of six months working at school level
- Happy to work in a PRU
- Used to being creative, innovative and fun in the classroom
- Happy to work with children and young adults with barriers to learning
- Looking for a rewarding career in an SEND setting
