Receptionist / Administrator

 Temporary full time role for a committed Receptionist / Administrator at a fantastic Catholic Primary School in Birmingham. The school are looking for someone who has worked in a school office environment before (this is must). The person must be experienced in office processes, school software packages, have the ability to confidentially handle and process the banking of school money. 

 The school is in a great location for travelling to by public transport and for drivers

 This person must be conversant with the following software:

  1. Experienced with ARBOR is desirable but must have experience with CMIS - they must know how to input pupil data, transfer files, do the registers, complete the schools census (The school census is a priority) and have an ability to generate new and old reports
  2. Adsum for Dinners
  3. Adsum for Trips
  4. Group call
  5. Word
  6. Excel
  7. Understand the importance of the single central register - correctly undertaking data entry, keeping the DBS and safeguarding information up to date on the spreadsheet/database
  8. Have an ability to quickly understand software and deal will software issues as and when they arise (the school has a dedicated IT support person that comes in 1.5 time per week) Therefore IT issues should be at a minimum.
  9. Be able to undertake additional duties at the request of the Head Teacher or Business Manager
 

The position is front of house, therefore the school require someone who is friendly, approachable smartly dressed with an ability to maintain a professional manner when dealing with parent/carer issues.
