Teacher of the Deaf

September Start - £24,000 to £36,000

The Network is recruiting a Science Teacher for a fantastic school dedicated to working hearing impaired children. Ideally this school are looking for a qualified Teacher of the Deaf, however would consider a Qualified Science Teacher who has previously worked with BSL and hearing impairment. You will be working in small classes of no more than 5 students of varying abilities. You will be joining a proactive and flexible team whose primary focus is on putting the needs of the individual children first, and providing them with tailored support to match their abilities. This is a small setting that has been highly praised for the work it does. If you are a Teacher of The Deaf who is able to teach Science, or a Qualified Science Teacher who has experience working with BSL then this could be a highly rewarding opportunity for you.

-       A Qualified Teacher of The Deaf or Science Teacher
-       A flexible teacher to engage with students
-       An experienced ToD that is used to engaging pupils at key Stages 3 & 4
